HYPD works with essentially any AI client that can connect to remote MCP servers. That said, the experience differs.

Our recommendation: Claude

Claude (web and Desktop) gives the best experience and the full feature set — it is what we optimize for. Claude also supports Projects, which are great for storing account context and instructions.

Good alternatives

• Codex — the recommended fallback if you don't use Claude.
• ChatGPT — fully supported via the HYPD AI Ads app or a custom connector.
• Copilot (Microsoft) and Gravity (Google) — work via remote MCP.
• Claude Code / Cowork — via the official HYPD plugin, which bundles prompt shortcuts and marketing skills.
• Cursor and other MCP-capable clients.

Model choice matters too

Newer models generally give better results. Some newer API features (like Performance Max search terms) are unknown to older models — if a report "doesn't work," try a newer model or run it through HYPD's prompt library. See "PMax Search Terms Report Doesn't Work" in Troubleshooting for details.
