Claude and ChatGPT can produce downloadable files — Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF — from your HYPD analyses.

If you are only getting text answers, here is how to fix that.

Why you might only get text

By default, the AI may just return a written report, because nothing told it you wanted a file.

The fix: ask for the format

The simplest solution is to specify the format in your prompt:

Create last month's performance report as a PowerPoint presentation.

Export this analysis as an Excel file with one tab per campaign.

Better: build it into a Claude Project

If you work in a Claude Project, add an instruction like this to the project instructions:

Before creating any report, ask me which output format I want (Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, or text).

That way every report conversation starts with the format question — no more retyping it.
