Connect your Google Ads account to analyze campaigns, keywords, ads, and performance with HYPD.
Before you start
You need a Google account that has access to the Google Ads advertiser accounts you want to analyze.
Use an advertiser account, not an MCC. When prompted, select the Google account with direct access to advertiser accounts — not your Manager (MCC) account. HYPD analyzes individual advertiser accounts; the MCC is only an access layer.
Connect your account
- From the HYPD sidebar, click Ad Platforms.
- Find Google Ads and click Connect.
- Choose the Google account that has access to your advertiser accounts.
- Review HYPD's privacy policy and terms, then continue to grant access. Important: tick the permission checkbox on Google's consent screen — it is unchecked by default.
Once connected, your advertiser accounts are available to HYPD in your AI client (Claude or ChatGPT). You can control which accounts are available under Ad Platforms → Manage Google Ads accounts.
Permissions
HYPD uses read-only access to your Google Ads data:
Note: Google's consent screen wording mentions broader access because that is the only scope Google offers for Ads accounts — HYPD only ever reads your data. You can revoke access anytime from your Google Account permissions.
Troubleshooting
- I don't see my advertiser accounts — make sure you selected the Google account with direct access to advertiser accounts, not your MCC.
- Account shows as CLOSED — closed accounts still appear but cannot be analyzed.
- I want to connect a different Google account — go to Ad Platforms, disconnect Google Ads, then reconnect with the correct account.
